Day 7: Five pet peeves

1. Talking to me before breakfast

Sure I’d love to talk to you.. but if you’re going to bombard me with questions and full on “real talks” before breakfast then expect a lot of grunting and incoherent answers.


2. No means no

Ladies, if you physically have to hold him back away from you then it’s probably a good idea to leave as soon as possible.


3. Reality tv

A lot of the celebrity lives that we watch on tv are scripted, edited and re-shot countless times. It’s manipulated to portray over-the-top glamorous lifestyles and manufactured drama.


4. Personal space

I’ve had a big issue with negative energy invading my personal space recently. I now cringe at physical contact and some people really enjoy getting up close and personal.


5. Catcalling

Ladies know what I’m talking about. Inappropriate comments, honking, whistling, and the unfortunate groping. Here’s a hilarious perspective on what guys think of it:

Day 4: Bullet your whole day

  • Wake up – 2:30 pm
  • Instagram, Twitter
  • Vine
  • Look at texts
  • Brush, etc.
  • Check kitchen for food – insufficient
  • Order for pickup: 2 butter chickens, 4 naan; 3 iced caps (one with chocolate milk, fucking awesome), 1 butter croissant
  • Reply to texts
  • Eat delicious butter chicken
  • Friends & family arrive (Saturday is always a party)
  • Curl my aunt’s hair, trying out different styles – she’s renewing her vows soon
  • Curl my hair
  • Eat, drink
  • Drunk
  • Reply to messages
  • Curl more hair
  • Curl mom’s hair
  • Wrangle chaotic kids
  • Clean up
  • Try on dresses with mom followed by an impromptu photoshoot
  • Find an old photo album in mom’s closet
  • Find hilarious photos; laugh at them with mom – discover photos of my father
  • Eat
  • Flip through my father’s journal, ask mom a million questions about him
  • Go through more old photos
  • High
  • Discover a folder of old school work – ROFL
